HM10660A

HM10660A is a long-acting recombinant human interferon alfa-2b developed by Hanmi Pharmaceutical. It is engineered to have an extended biological half-life compared to conventional interferon alfa-2b by linking it to another human protein, allowing for less frequent dosing (weekly to monthly injections). The drug acts as an agonist of the interferon alpha/beta receptor (IFNAR), modulating immune responses and exhibiting antiviral and antitumor activity. Its primary indications were chronic hepatitis B and C infections as well as certain cancers. Clinical development included studies on safety, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and immunogenicity in comparison with pegylated interferons[1][3][5].
