Overview

hMSC-Exos refers to exosomes derived from cultured human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). These nanoscale extracellular vesicles (typically 40–120 nm in diameter) are secreted by MSCs and contain a variety of bioactive molecules including proteins, lipids, mRNA, and miRNA. They mediate intercellular communication and can modulate immune responses, promote tissue repair and regeneration, suppress inflammation, and regulate fibroblast activity. Mechanistically, hMSC-Exos exert their effects through paracrine signaling pathways similar to those of their parent MSCs but without the risks associated with live cell transplantation. Preclinical studies have shown efficacy in models of fibrosis reduction, wound healing acceleration via enhanced fibroblast migration/proliferation[6][8], immunomodulation (affecting macrophages/NK/T cells)[3], as well as organ protection in kidney injury models[7]. Clinical trials have explored topical use for sensitive skin disorders with improvements in barrier function and symptom relief[6][8]. The product is under investigation for various regenerative medicine indications including skin diseases (e.g., atopic dermatitis), fibrotic conditions (e.g., radiation enteritis), autoimmune diseases such as graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), organ injury repair (kidney/liver/heart/eye), among others.
