Overview

HNC364 is a long-acting injectable prodrug of rasagiline, developed for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. It is designed as an intramuscular suspension that, upon administration, is readily and completely converted to rasagiline in the body. Rasagiline itself is a selective monoamine oxidase B (MAO-B) inhibitor used to manage symptoms of Parkinson's disease by increasing levels of dopamine in the brain. The development goal for HNC364 is to provide a sustained-release formulation that allows for less frequent dosing compared to oral rasagiline tablets[1][3][5][8][9].
