Overview
Hoạt Huyết Plus is a traditional herbal medicine developed and manufactured by Bepharco (Ben Tre Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company) in Vietnam. It is specifically formulated to treat cerebral circulation disorders and associated neurological symptoms. The product typically contains standardized extracts of *Ginkgo biloba* and *Polyscias fruticosa* (Đinh lăng), which work synergistically to enhance blood flow to the brain and peripheral tissues. It is indicated for the relief of symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, vertigo, memory impairment, and insomnia resulting from cerebral circulatory insufficiency. The mechanism of action involves the promotion of vasodilation, reduction of blood viscosity, and neuroprotection through the antioxidant and anti-platelet activities of its herbal constituents, particularly the antagonism of platelet-activating factor (PAF) receptors by ginkgolides.
