**HODO-2225** is a Hyundai Pharmaceutical fixed-dose oral combination candidate reported to contain empagliflozin, ezetimibe, and rosuvastatin. It combines sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibition to increase urinary glucose excretion, inhibition of intestinal Niemann-Pick C1-like 1-mediated cholesterol absorption, and competitive inhibition of HMG-CoA reductase to reduce cholesterol synthesis. The program has entered Phase 1 clinical development in South Korea as a cardiometabolic therapy.
