The mechanism of action involves modulating the immune system's response to specific allergens by shifting from a Th2-dominated allergic profile to a Th1/Treg-mediated tolerant state. This is characterized by the induction of regulatory T-cells, increased production of protective IgG4 antibodies, and a reduction in the activity of allergen-specific IgE, thereby alleviating the symptoms of allergic rhinitis.
