Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Honghefu Jie liquid (also known as Honghe Fujie wash or Redcore lotion) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) botanical extract developed and manufactured by Shandong Buchang Pharmaceuticals. It is formulated as a liquid wash derived from the dry distillate of hawthorn seeds (Crataegus pinnatifida). The preparation is rich in organic acids, phenols, aldehydes, and ketones, which provide broad-spectrum antimicrobial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC), non-specific vaginitis, and mixed vaginitis. Additionally, it is being evaluated in clinical trials (such as ChiCTR2300074173) in combination with Xinfuning (interferon alcon-1) for the clearance of high-risk cervical human papillomavirus (HPV) infections.
