Overview
Honghua dripping pill is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) botanical product developed by Shanxi Deyuantang Pharmaceutical for the treatment of stable exertional angina pectoris. The formulation is derived from the flower of *Carthamus tinctorius* (Safflower), which is traditionally recognized for its ability to promote blood circulation and resolve blood stasis. In clinical applications for coronary artery disease, it is used to address the TCM pattern of heart blood stasis and obstruction. The drug has undergone Phase II clinical evaluation in China to assess its safety, efficacy, and optimal dosing for improving symptoms of myocardial ischemia.
