Overview
Hongjing I Granule (also known as hongjing-1) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) preparation developed by The Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (impotence). The formulation is based on the Yiqi Huoxue therapeutic principle, which focuses on replenishing qi and promoting blood circulation to address the underlying pathophysiology of impotence. It has been evaluated in multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials to establish its efficacy and safety profile as a potential new Chinese medicine preparation, transitioning from traditional theory to clinical practice.
