Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HOT-1010 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that acts as a biosimilar to bevacizumab (Avastin). It selectively binds to human vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), inhibiting its biological activity and thereby blocking angiogenesis, which is critical for tumor growth and metastasis. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer and advanced, metastatic, or recurrent non-small cell lung cancer. Clinical studies have demonstrated that HOT-1010 has similar pharmacokinetics, safety, and immunogenicity profiles compared to reference bevacizumab in healthy subjects. The product is administered intravenously[1][2][3][4].
