Overview

**Hotmin** was an Eisai over-the-counter oral fixed-dose combination tablet marketed in Japan to improve peripheral blood circulation and relieve coldness in the extremities and stiff shoulders associated with poor circulation. It contained nicotinic acid, ginseng extract, and d-alpha tocopherol succinate. Nicotinic acid was included for peripheral vasodilation, ginseng extract for circulation-supporting activity, and d-alpha tocopherol succinate as natural vitamin E. Eisai launched Hotmin on September 16, 2008; production ended in October 2010.
