HOXC-AS3 siRNA is a small interfering RNA designed to specifically target and degrade the long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) HOXC-AS3 transcript. HOXC-AS3 is implicated in cancer biology, including cell proliferation, migration, drug resistance, and poor prognosis in various malignancies such as gastric, lung, liver, breast, and colorectal cancers. Knockdown of HOXC-AS3 via siRNA leads to antitumor effects, typically by inhibiting cell proliferation and migration, promoting apoptosis, and increasing sensitivity to chemotherapeutic agents. Mechanistically, HOXC-AS3 functions by interacting with proteins (such as CDK2 and YBX1), modulating cell cycle pathways (including Rb/E2F1), affecting the stability and expression of downstream oncogenes, and participating in ceRNA networks that sponge tumor-suppressor microRNAs. In preclinical research, HOXC-AS3 siRNA has been used to demonstrate the therapeutic potential of targeting this lncRNA in tumor xenograft and cell-based models[1][7][8][5][3][4].
