Overview

HP-001 is a degradable molecular glue drug candidate developed by Shanghai Helioson Pharmaceutical. It functions as an inhibitor of the transcription factors IKZF1 (Ikaros) and IKZF3 (Aiolos), which are zinc finger proteins involved in the regulation of lymphocyte development and survival. By promoting the degradation of these proteins, HP-001 is designed to disrupt cancer cell growth, particularly in hematologic malignancies such as multiple myeloma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma[1][4].
