Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HP-004 is an experimental degrader antibody conjugate (DAC) being developed by Shanghai Helioson Pharmaceutical for the treatment of hematologic malignancies. As a DAC, it represents a novel class of targeted therapy that combines the high specificity of a monoclonal antibody with the potent catalytic activity of a protein degrader payload, such as a PROTAC or molecular glue. The antibody component is designed to recognize and bind to specific antigens on the surface of malignant cells, facilitating the internalization of the conjugate. Once inside the cell, the degrader payload is released to induce the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of a target protein essential for tumor survival or progression. HP-004 is currently in the discovery and preclinical stages of development, leveraging Helioson's protein homeostasis and DAC technology platforms.
