Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HP01 is a Vitis labrusca extract derived from the leaves of the Vitis labrusca plant. It has demonstrated potent antioxidant activity, improved blood circulation by modulating the extrinsic clotting pathway and inhibiting platelet aggregation, and ameliorated lipid metabolism disorders by reducing hepatic triglyceride and total cholesterol accumulation in hyperlipidemic rat models. These actions collectively contribute to its observed hepatoprotective effects, including the reduction of elevated alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels. HP01 is being investigated for its potential as a functional food or therapeutic agent for the prevention and treatment of hyperlipidemia and cardiovascular disease risk factors.
