HPDCs-T is an investigational autologous cellular immunotherapy developed by Hebei Senlang Biotechnology for the treatment of relapsed or refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). The therapy utilizes human plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs), a specialized subset of dendritic cells known for their high capacity to produce type I interferons and their potent antigen-presenting abilities. In this therapeutic approach, pDCs are used to prime and activate T cells against tumor-associated antigens. The resulting cell product, containing activated T cells and pDCs, is infused back into the patient to induce a robust anti-leukemic immune response. This strategy leverages both the direct cytotoxic activity of T cells and the immune-modulating effects of pDC-derived cytokines to overcome tumor-induced immunosuppression.
