Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HPIV3-EbovZ GP vaccine is a recombinant vaccine candidate that uses human parainfluenza virus type 3 (HPIV3) as a vector to express the glycoprotein (GP) of Zaire ebolavirus (EBOV). It is designed to be administered intranasally, which induces immune responses both in the respiratory tract and systemically. The vaccine generates both humoral and cellular immune responses against Ebola virus and has shown protection in animal models including non-human primates, guinea pigs, and ferrets.
