Drug intelligence / Profile preview
hPLTs-05 is a preclinical-stage cell therapy product being developed by HemaCell Therapeutics (Xue Ji Bio) for the treatment of thrombocytopenia. It represents a third-generation universal platelet technology engineered to lack human leukocyte antigen (HLA) antigens. This HLA-null approach is designed to enable platelet transfusions without the requirement for HLA matching between donor and recipient, thereby reducing the risk of alloimmunization and addressing immune-mediated platelet refractoriness in patients.
