Overview

**HPMA-KCCYSL-DTPA** is an experimental HER2-targeted polymer conjugate developed in academic research. It consists of an N-(2-hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide copolymer scaffold bearing the HER2-binding peptide KCCYSL and diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid as a metal-chelating group. KCCYSL binds the extracellular domain of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2, enabling preferential association with HER2-expressing tumor cells. The DTPA group permits radiometal complexation; the conjugate has been radiolabeled with indium-111 for SPECT imaging in mouse pancreatic-tumor xenograft studies, including studies evaluating hyaluronidase-mediated stromal depletion to improve tumor penetration. It is a noncommercial, preclinical research-stage imaging and delivery platform rather than an approved medicine.
