Overview

HPN217 is a trispecific T cell activating construct (TriTAC) designed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. It incorporates three binding domains: one targeting B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) on multiple myeloma cells, one targeting CD3 on T cells to facilitate T cell engagement and cytotoxicity, and one binding human serum albumin to extend the drug's half-life. By bringing T cells into close proximity with BCMA-expressing tumor cells, HPN217 promotes targeted immune-mediated killing of malignant plasma cells. The drug is being developed as an innovative immunotherapy for patients who have received multiple prior lines of therapy and has demonstrated promising efficacy and safety in early-phase clinical trials[1][2][3][6][8].
