Overview

HPP2202 is a placebo drug product developed by Hanmi Pharmaceutical for use in clinical research. It was specifically designed as a matching placebo for the reference drug RLD2204 to facilitate double-blinding in a Phase III clinical trial (NCT05656092) evaluating the efficacy and safety of HIP0612 in patients with active gastric ulcer. As a placebo, HPP2202 contains no active pharmaceutical ingredients, has no biological target, and exerts no therapeutic effect. It is administered once daily in the trial to mirror the dosing regimen of the active comparator.
