HPV E6 TCR-T is an adoptive cell therapy being developed by Guangzhou FineImmune Biotechnology for the treatment of cervical cancer and other HPV-associated malignancies. The therapy utilizes autologous T cells that are genetically engineered to express T-cell receptors (TCRs) specifically designed to recognize the HPV E6 oncoprotein. HPV E6 is a viral protein constitutively expressed in HPV-positive tumor cells and is essential for the maintenance of the malignant phenotype. By targeting this intracellular antigen, the TCR-T cells can identify and eliminate cancer cells that present E6-derived peptides on their surface via major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules. This approach is part of FineImmune's SUPER TCR-T platform, which aims to provide targeted immunotherapy for solid tumors.
