HPV E7 TCR-T is an autologous T-cell receptor (TCR) engineered T-cell therapy being developed by Guangzhou FineImmune Biotechnology for the treatment of cervical cancer and other HPV-associated malignancies. The therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a TCR that specifically recognizes the HPV E7 oncoprotein, an intracellular antigen constitutively expressed in HPV-positive tumor cells. These engineered T cells identify E7 peptide fragments presented by Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) molecules on the tumor cell surface, leading to targeted cytotoxicity and tumor regression. This approach leverages the specificity of TCRs to target intracellular viral proteins that are often inaccessible to traditional CAR-T therapies.
