Overview

HPV-T is an autologous T-cell therapy developed by BGI for the treatment of HPV-16 positive recurrent or metastatic solid tumors. The therapy utilizes patient-derived T cells that are expanded or engineered to recognize and eliminate cells expressing the HPV-16 E6 and E7 oncoproteins. These proteins are critical for the oncogenic process in HPV-associated malignancies, such as cervical and oropharyngeal cancers. HPV-T is administered intravenously, typically in conjunction with Interleukin-2 (IL-2) to enhance the expansion and persistence of the infused T cells within the patient's body.
