Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HPV16 E7 Ii-Key peptide vaccine is a therapeutic peptide vaccine candidate being developed by Youfeng Biotechnology for the treatment of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection and cervical cancer. The vaccine utilizes the proprietary Ii-Key technology platform, which involves a hybrid peptide consisting of an antigenic epitope (specifically targeting the HPV16 E7 protein) linked to a four-amino acid Ii-Key segment (LRMK). This modification is designed to enhance the potency of the vaccine by facilitating the direct charging of MHC class II molecules on the surface of antigen-presenting cells, thereby bypassing the need for intracellular processing. This mechanism is intended to significantly boost CD4+ T-cell responses and subsequent immune activation against HPV-infected or transformed cells expressing the E7 oncoprotein.
