HR-003

HR-003 is an autologous, dual-target chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Shanghai HRAIN Biotechnology. It is engineered to express CARs that simultaneously recognize and bind to CD19 and CD22, two proteins highly expressed on the surface of B-cell lineage cells. This dual-targeting approach is intended to overcome the limitations of single-target CAR-T therapies, specifically the phenomenon of antigen escape where tumor cells downregulate a single target (like CD19) to evade the immune system. HR-003 is currently in clinical development for various B-cell hematologic malignancies, including acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL), where it aims to provide more durable remissions by reducing the risk of relapse.
