HR1405-02

HR1405-02 is a topical small molecule analgesic developed by Nanjing Heron Pharmaceutical for the treatment of joint and muscle pain. It is a topical formulation, specifically a liniment, of HR1405, which is a novel, highly selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor. As a Class 1 innovative drug in China, HR1405-02 is designed to provide effective localized pain relief while minimizing the systemic side effects typically associated with oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The drug is currently in Phase 1 clinical development in China to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy subjects.
