Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HR20013 + dexamethasone is a **fixed-dose intravenous combination drug** composed of HR20013— a mixed formulation of **fosrolapitant** and **palonosetron**— together with **dexamethasone**. Fosrolapitant is a prodrug of rolapitant, a selective neurokinin-1 (NK-1) receptor antagonist, while palonosetron is a selective 5-hydroxytryptamine-3 (5-HT3) receptor antagonist. Dexamethasone is a potent synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressant effects. This combination is developed to prevent **chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV)**, particularly in patients receiving highly emetogenic chemotherapy (HEC) such as cisplatin. Studies show this combination provides noninferior efficacy compared to established triple-therapy regimens, with a favorable safety profile[1][3][5][7].
