Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**HRS-2162** is a novel small molecule injection developed by Fujian Shengdi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals) as a new generation neuromuscular blocking agent reversal drug. It antagonizes the effects of muscle relaxants such as rocuronium and cisatracurium, rapidly restoring muscle tone to facilitate recovery from neuromuscular blockade during surgical anesthesia. Currently in early clinical development, a Phase 1 single ascending dose trial (NCT07195604) in healthy subjects is evaluating its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (including Cmax, AUC, Tmax, T1/2, CL, Vz), pharmacodynamics (time to recovery of train-of-four ratio), and effect on QTc interval, with no approved similar products available globally.[1][5][7][10][11]
