Overview

HRS-4357 is an injectable radiopharmaceutical in clinical development for the treatment of prostate cancer, specifically targeting patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) who are positive for prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA). The drug is designed to deliver ionizing radiation directly to PSMA-expressing tumor cells, leveraging nuclear medicine techniques for both diagnosis and therapy. Its mechanism of action involves acting as an ionizing radiation emitter, selectively targeting and destroying cancer cells that express PSMA. HRS-4357 represents the first innovative nuclear medicine drug from Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine approved for clinical trials in this field and aims to provide a new therapeutic option for advanced prostate cancer patients who have previously received androgen receptor pathway inhibitors and taxane chemotherapy[1][2][3].
