Overview

HRS-5041 is an investigational small molecule drug developed by Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). It is administered orally in tablet form. The drug acts as a targeted androgen receptor (AR) degrader, utilizing PROTAC (Proteolysis Targeting Chimera) technology to promote degradation of the androgen receptor, which plays a key role in prostate cancer progression. As of 2025, HRS-5041 is in Phase 2 clinical trials for prostate cancer[1][2][3][4][5].
