HRS-5965

HRS-5965 is an oral small molecule drug candidate developed by Chengdu Suncadia Medicine. It acts as a complement factor B (CFB) modulator, inhibiting complement factor B to block the alternative pathway of the complement system. It is in phase III clinical trials for the treatment of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), particularly in patients who remain anemic despite stable use of C5 complement inhibitors. The drug is also under investigation for other renal and autoimmune diseases, including glomerulonephritis, IgA nephropathy, idiopathic membranous nephropathy, C3 nephropathy, and lupus nephritis. HRS-5965 is being evaluated both as monotherapy and in combination with existing anti-C5 therapies for PNH.
