Overview

HRS-8080 is a novel, oral, small molecule selective estrogen receptor degrader (SERD) developed for the treatment of breast cancer. It acts by selectively and efficiently degrading estrogen receptors (ER), thereby inhibiting ER activity and downstream signaling pathways that drive tumor cell proliferation. The drug is being investigated primarily for ER-positive/HER2-negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer, including locally advanced unresectable cases. Its mechanism of action targets the degradation of expressed estrogen receptors to exert anti-tumor effects[1][4][5][6].
