Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HRS-9057 is a novel small molecule drug under development for the treatment of heart failure with volume overload, body fluid retention, and autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD). It is being investigated in both oral tablet and injectable formulations. The mechanism of action has not been fully disclosed but preclinical data suggest it may inhibit excessive kidney cell proliferation and vesicle formation in ADPKD. Clinical trials are ongoing to evaluate its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) in healthy volunteers as well as patients with heart failure and volume overload[1][2][5][9].
