Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HS-10380 is an orally administered, small molecule antipsychotic drug under development by Jiangsu Hansoh Pharmaceutical for the treatment of schizophrenia and manic episodes in bipolar I disorder. It acts as a multi-target agent, functioning as a partial agonist at the serotonin 5-HT1A receptor and as an agonist at dopamine D2 and D3 receptors. Preclinical studies indicate that it also has significant antagonistic effects on the 5-HT2A receptor, with high binding affinity to both 5-HT1A and 5-HT2A receptors. The drug is currently in Phase II clinical trials for schizophrenia in China, with additional clinical applications approved for manic episodes of bipolar I disorder. Early studies suggest good safety, tolerability, and efficacy profiles[2][3][5][8].
