Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HS-10516 is an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of hypoxia-inducible factor 2-alpha (HIF-2α), developed for its potential antineoplastic (anti-cancer) activity. By inhibiting HIF-2α, a transcription factor involved in cellular response to hypoxia and tumor progression, HS-10516 aims to suppress tumor growth and survival under low oxygen conditions. The drug is being developed by Jiangsu Hansoh Pharmaceutical and its affiliate Shanghai Hansoh Biomedical, with clinical trials focused on advanced solid tumors, renal cell carcinoma, and von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) syndrome-associated tumors. As of 2025, it is in Phase 1 clinical development in China.
