Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HS-10566 is an investigational intravesical drug delivery system developed by Jiangsu Hansoh Pharmaceutical for the treatment of high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). It is designed to provide sustained release of gemcitabine, a pyrimidine antimetabolite, directly into the bladder. This approach aims to maintain therapeutic drug concentrations over an extended period, potentially improving efficacy and reducing the frequency of instillations compared to standard intravesical chemotherapy. It is currently being evaluated in Phase I/II clinical trials for patients who are either BCG-unresponsive or BCG-naïve.
