Overview

HS-20117-2 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting the Hepatocyte Growth Factor Receptor (c-Met/MET), developed by Hansoh Pharmaceutical. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. The molecule consists of a humanized anti-c-Met monoclonal antibody conjugated to a cytotoxic payload, typically a topoisomerase I inhibitor, via a stable linker. HS-20117-2 is designed to selectively bind to c-Met-expressing cancer cells, leading to internalization of the ADC and subsequent release of the payload within the lysosomal compartment. The released toxin then induces DNA damage and cell death. This targeted approach aims to maximize anti-tumor efficacy while minimizing systemic toxicity in patients with c-Met-overexpressing malignancies such as lung and gastric cancers.
