Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HS-20152 is a first-in-class (Category 1) innovative drug developed by Jiangsu Hansoh Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the treatment of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), a rare and life-threatening blood disorder. Formulated as an injection, HS-20152 is designed to target the complement pathway, which plays a central role in the pathogenesis of PNH by driving the destruction of red blood cells. In March 2026, the drug received approval from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) to initiate clinical development. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, single ascending dose study to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics in healthy adults, with a focus on complement-related biomarkers.
