HS-IT201 is an autologous tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy developed by Qingdao Sino-Cell Biomedicine for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. The therapeutic process involves the isolation of naturally occurring T cells from a patient's tumor tissue, followed by their ex vivo expansion to large therapeutic quantities. Once expanded, these TILs are re-infused into the patient following a lymphodepleting conditioning regimen consisting of fludarabine and cyclophosphamide. Post-infusion, patients receive interleukin-2 (IL-2) to promote the survival and proliferation of the TILs within the body. This adoptive cell therapy approach aims to leverage the broad, polyclonal T-cell repertoire to recognize and eliminate cancer cells expressing diverse tumor-specific antigens.
