HS269 is a small molecule, highly selective inhibitor of the tyrosine-protein kinase receptor RET. It was developed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, particularly those with RET gene alterations. The drug acts by inhibiting the activity of RET, a receptor tyrosine kinase implicated in various cancers through mutations or fusions that drive tumor growth and survival. HS269 was initially developed by Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical and entered Phase 1 clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced solid tumors[1][2][3][4]. However, development has since been discontinued[3].
