Overview

HS329 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody developed by Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical for the treatment and prevention of thromboembolic diseases. It specifically targets Platelet glycoprotein VI (GPVI), a key collagen receptor on the surface of platelets. By inhibiting the interaction between collagen and GPVI, HS329 prevents collagen-induced platelet activation and aggregation, which are critical steps in thrombus formation. Unlike traditional antiplatelet agents, targeting GPVI is hypothesized to provide potent antithrombotic effects with a lower risk of bleeding complications, as GPVI is primarily involved in pathological thrombosis rather than normal hemostasis.
