Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HS627 is a biosimilar of pertuzumab, developed by Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical and its subsidiary BioRay Biopharmaceutical. It is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). The drug functions primarily as an antineoplastic immunotherapy agent by inhibiting HER2 dimerization and mediating antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity. Its main clinical development focus is for use in combination with trastuzumab and docetaxel as neoadjuvant therapy in patients with early-stage or locally advanced HER2-positive breast cancer[1][5][2]. Clinical trials have demonstrated pharmacokinetic similarity to the reference product Perjeta (pertuzumab)[2][4].
