Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HSB-101 is a preclinical-stage antibody-based immunotherapy being developed by Hillstar Bio for the treatment of axial spondyloarthritis (AxSpA) and other HLA-B27-mediated immune and inflammatory conditions. The drug functions as a selective depleting agent targeting TRBV9+ T cells, a specific subset of pathogenic T cells implicated in driving the inflammatory response in AxSpA. By selectively eliminating these cells while preserving the broader immune system, HSB-101 represents a precision immunology approach designed to offer improved efficacy and safety over traditional broad-spectrum immunosuppressants. Hillstar Bio anticipates that HSB-101 will enter clinical trials in 2026.
