Overview

HSF1 shRNA is a research-use-only short hairpin RNA (shRNA) reagent designed to knock down the expression of heat shock transcription factor 1 (HSF1). HSF1 is a master regulator of the heat shock response and is frequently hijacked in various cancers to support cell survival, proliferation, and metastasis under proteotoxic stress. By targeting HSF1 mRNA for degradation via the RNA interference (RNAi) pathway, HSF1 shRNA is widely utilized in preclinical research to investigate the role of HSF1 in tumor progression, drug resistance, and immune evasion, such as its impact on CD8+ T cell infiltration and CCL5 expression in breast cancer.
