Overview

HSK39775 is a novel small molecule inhibitor of ubiquitin-specific protease 1 (USP1), developed by Haisco Pharmaceutical Group (also referred to as Tibet Haisco Pharmaceutical or Xizang Haisco Pharmaceutical) for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. The drug is being evaluated as an oral monotherapy in patients with advanced malignancies who have failed or are intolerant to standard therapies. Preclinical studies indicate that HSK39775 demonstrates strong anti-tumor activity, particularly in models with homologous recombination repair defects, such as those associated with BRCA mutations (e.g., breast cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer). The mechanism of action involves inhibition of USP1, which plays a role in DNA damage response and repair pathways. As of June 2024, the drug is undergoing Phase I/II clinical trials in China to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), and preliminary efficacy[1][2][3][5][7].
