HST-002 is a human-derived collagen and extracellular matrix dermal filler being developed by Histogen for the treatment of facial folds and wrinkles, including nasolabial folds.[3][5][7][9][10][11] Produced via Histogen’s patented hypoxia-induced multipotent cell culture process, the product consists of naturally produced collagen and associated extracellular matrix proteins intended for injection into the dermis to restore volume and improve the appearance of facial wrinkles, positioning it as an aesthetic regenerative medicine device/biologic rather than a traditional small-molecule drug.[5][7][9][10][11]
