Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PBS Vax HSV-2 Vaccine is a therapeutic vaccine candidate developed by Auro Vaccines for the treatment of Herpes Simplex Virus Type 2 (HSV-2) infection. The vaccine utilizes a heterologous prime-boost strategy, consisting of a GeneVax DNA vaccine prime followed by a VesiculoVax viral vector boost. This approach is designed to induce robust and durable T-cell and antibody responses against HSV-2 antigens. As of the latest pipeline updates, the program is in the preclinical stage and is currently listed as being on hold.
