Overview

HT-102 is an investigational humanized monoclonal antibody developed for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. It specifically targets the antigenic loop of the hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), functioning by inhibiting HBV entry into cells and promoting elimination of virions and subviral particles. The drug is administered subcutaneously and has demonstrated linear pharmacokinetics with a favorable safety profile in early clinical studies. HT-102 is being developed by Suzhou Hepa Thera Biopharmaceutical in collaboration with Biomissile, with clinical trials also involving Suzhou Boomingsai Biopharmaceutical. Its primary indication is chronic hepatitis B, but it is also under investigation for hepatitis D[1][2][3][5][7].
