HT547 is a radiopharmaceutical ligand designed to target the urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (uPAR), a cell-surface protein that is overexpressed in various solid tumors and plays a critical role in cancer cell migration, invasion, and metastasis. It is developed as a theranostic pair, consisting of a diagnostic imaging agent and a therapeutic agent. When labeled with the positron-emitting isotope Gallium-68 ([68Ga]Ga-HT547), it is used for PET/CT imaging to detect and localize uPAR-positive lesions. When labeled with the beta-emitting isotope Lutetium-177 ([177Lu]Lu-HT547), it serves as a targeted radionuclide therapy to deliver localized radiation to tumor cells. HT547 is currently being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials to assess its safety, biodistribution, and dosimetry in patients with solid tumors, including breast cancer, head and neck cancer, pancreatic cancer, and glioma.
